Reeven Justice RC-1204 CPU Cooler Review

Admin Cooling 1511

Introduction

We recently reviewed the Reeven Steropes RC-1206b, a low profile CPU cooler that surprised us with its cooling performance. The Steropes RC-1206b is a specialist cooler, lots of manufacturers have a low profile cooler, some do them well, like Reeven, and some do not.

We are impressed, it’s a tough type of cooler configuration to crack. We have a second cooler from Reeven, the Justice RC-1204, more of a standard cooler and retaining Reeven’s yellow and black colour scheme.

This is a tower cooler, LGA 1511 and LGA 2011 ready sporting a 120mm fan. This means it’s going to go up against the mainstream players, who have been pumping out this type of cooler for a long time, most of them get it right too. Let’s see how Reeven get on with the Justice RC-1204.

The Reeven Justice RC-1204 is similar in colour scheme to the Steropes RC-1206b, black and yellow.

It’s a nice little cooler in appearance, and it has a nice finish on the metal top plate.  The cooler comes with extra fan clips for a second fan.

The fan is a four pin PWM fan, attached with some chunky yellow clips. Take it or leave it, we do not mind the colour scheme, but you could replace or remove the fan anyway.

If you are looking for a good looking solid performing cooler, that's slightly smaller than your average tower cooler, you need to consider the Reeven Justice RC-1204. If you want evidence, the sound performance is all you need. A good BIOS fan profile set up will give you something well worth the money.
