Sapphire ITX Radeon R9 380 Graphics Card Review

There is a DVI-D, a HDMI and two Mini DisplayPorts, adapters included. The Sapphire ITX Compact R9 380 has ample venting out of the back, so even the smallest systems should exhaust some hot air as required.

The card is one big heatsink and has some copper heatpipes on show. The card is 170 (L) x 116.15 (W) x 37 (H) mm, and will occupy two slots of your motherboard.

The Sapphire ITX Compact Radeon R9 380 has dual BIOS supporting both UEFI and legacy systems.

Next to our XFX Radeon R9 390X 8GB DD Black Edition it is just over half the length and has a stubby and solid feel. We would claim that ITX components had a less exciting look to them, though this is now changing a lot, the Sapphire ITX R9 380 looks the part, though only just.

With some truly superb gaming performance on a small form factor layout, you need to look at this card for your next build or upgrade. The R9 Nano is out there too, but it's about three times the cost, and we don't think you'll want to spend that on one component of an ITX build. The Sapphire ITX Compact Radeon R9 380 will play a lot of your games in 1080p, maybe with some of the visual toys turned off, and sometimes not. We would be lying if we did not recommend this.
