OCZ at CeBIT 2009

Admin Trade Fair 511

Now we come to the Power supply units. As I’m sure that you already know by now, OCZ has acquired PC Power & Cooling company. What I didn’t know what OCZ’s PSU are intended for entry level and mid range market. PP&C PSU are made for high performance and machines that require more power.

That’s why most of PP&C PSU have 80+ bronze or silver certification for efficiency (Silencer and Turbo-cool series). While ‘Z-series’ has 80+ silver and 80+ gold efficiency! (the PSU is more than 90 efficient under various loads)

Next up we have OCZ Neutrino netbook, which is DIY (Do It Yourself). So just add memory and disk to it, which depends on what do you need it for – and you’ll have netbook which suite user needs without spending too much money.

To conclude this report from OCZ, at the end I leave you with one power configuration – to cry for!! The prototype of new OCZ ‘Z-drive’ (inside this PC configuration it’s the one in white housing) powered by PP&C PSU, Intel Core i7 965, Asus motherboard, OCZ memory modules and GTX285 connected in SLI mode. The complete PC is cooler by Danger Dan LCS. Uf… When I looked at those pictures back home, the computer on which I’m writing this report looks like and old-timer!

To conclude this report, I really didn’t know that OCZ has made such products in gaming and peripherals range. Special thanks to Svetlana, Tobias and Alex for their time and tour around OCZ’s booth. Really looking forward to see what in the future will OCZ introduce new to the market.
