Aerocool Aero-1000 White Chassis Review

Admin Chassis 2352

The two 5.25 bay covers are very easy to remove, almost a little too easy, as they have a tenancy to release quickly when handled. The PSU is screwed straight into the chassis, no bracket or isolators are included.

On to the interior, and the back of the chassis has a lot of access, cable tie mounts and general access is good. One downside is the fan connectors, as they have dual connections, a 3 pin motherboard connector and a 4 pin molex. They look a little unsightly, as the 4 pin molex tends to hang around when not connected and in eye sight when the chassis is open.

Detail and access on the back side is good and the drive bays are removable, making this a good chassis for some of larger water pumps, the top 5.25 inch bays are not removable however.

The drive bays have removable trays which are nice and chunky, and come in 3.5 and the smaller SSD format of 2.5 inches. In all, there is support for up to 5×3.5” HDD or 7×2.5” HDD/SSDs.

When you think about what the Aerocool Aero-1000 is supposed to be, functional, designed, water cooling ready and with cable management in mind, it ticks all the boxes. We found the Aero-1000 at £53.92 in the Amazon UK store, which is very cheap for what you end up getting.
