Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 Rev.B Chassis Review

The exterior interfaces are kept to a minimum, they are all concealed either under the top panel cover, or behind the top door. The doors are sound proofed and also contain a couple of fan controllers. They will only control the speed of two sets of fans, but they are a welcome addition, and well hidden from view.

The reset button is also in the top front section, maybe a little fiddly, but not really an issue.

The interior has a lot of detail in it. The smooth metal finish continues throughout, it would be a shame to take a Dremel to any of this, it’s got a good finish to it, might be a little hard to recreate after cutting.

The main cable access from front to back is grommeted with nice and soft rubber, and we also have a tool less drive bay up top. There are plenty of cable tie eyelets, and three fans included.

There’s plenty of storage capability, making for a good file server, or just tonnes of storage for your gaming rig. Interestingly, the 2.5″ drive bays have rubber isolators as well, meaning you can use laptop drives without fear of nasty vibrations.

The various caddies have plastic guides on the tops and bottoms, they basically slot together, making for a couple of different configurations.

The chassis is very good, a real piece of hardware to be proud of. It's heavyweight as well, when you fill this up, it's going to feel like solid stone! The sound deadening really helps give a high quality feel to the chassis, absorbing more than just fan sounds, and creating a solid, expensive car door feel to the chassis.
