Test Build
We didn’t include an optical drive as we don’t really use them any more. We used some of our current test components, including a Zotac Amp GTX980 Ti and the fresh and the new ASRock Z170 Extreme4.
- Processor: Intel i7-6700K
- Motherboard: ASRock Z170 Extreme4
- Graphics: Zotac Amp GTX980 Ti
- Memory: 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666Mhz
- Drives: Samsung SM951 512GB M.2
- 2x Crucial MX200 500Gb SSD
- Cooler: Cryorig R1 Ultimate CPU Cooler
- PSU: EVGA 850W SuperNOVA G2
On with the test build shots;
A very tidy and clean build. We put this together in our usual way for test builds, a minimal cable tidy, not too much thought into how things go together.
There is enough depth on the back side of the chassis to get all this in, and still get the doors on without an issue.
We installed a couple of SSD’s in the lower enclosure, there is extra depth behind these drives for your cabling requirements to be met.
The Cryorig R1 Ultimate CPU Cooler sits comfortably in the chassis, and doesn’t obstruct against the outer door. The rear chassis fan compliments the air flow well.

The chassis is very good, a real piece of hardware to be proud of. It's heavyweight as well, when you fill this up, it's going to feel like solid stone! The sound deadening really helps give a high quality feel to the chassis, absorbing more than just fan sounds, and creating a solid, expensive car door feel to the chassis.
