So, it can house the superb Noctua NH-D15 CPU Cooler without issue, it does come close to the edge of the chassis, but there is enough clearance for comfort.
Overall, a nice build, with a lot hidden from the eye and only your best kit on view, with some nice visual features to make you feel proud!
Conclusion
It is on a lot of system builders list these days, but the H440 isn’t without it’s flaws, and they are a tad frustrating. The chamfer around the top radiator area, the space issues for larger radiators, the flimsy top chassis structure and the patience losing thumbscrews are the most of them. Overall we do not think this is a top watercooling chassis, there are better, but it is a top chassis.
If you consider an AIO cooler and have sympathetic hardware to the chassis dimensions, you can create yourself a stunning build, but we think you should buy the chassis first and measure up, it may catch you a little off guard if not. We also thought that the fan header would have been class leading if it was a PWM header, instead, its just a novel feature, though it does work well.
This is probably a bit of a Marmite chassis, if you plan big it may just put you in your place with niggling little fitment issues, but install a Fury X and an AIO, and nothing can touch it. Your best SSD’s will be on show as well, this could be a superb LAN party chassis but if you get it right, it will be the showcase of your bedroom. Recommended.
