The Cryorig C7 has a maximum TDP of 100w, and the 8700K has a stock TDP of 95w, so this is going to be just about the limit for the Cryorig C7.
We have included the Noctua NH-L12S results as it was tested on the same platform. These are different designs of CPU coolers, with the Noctua benefiting from a larger fan and heatsink design, it should be viewed as a baseline in thermal and sound performance.

The Cryorig C7 CPU Cooler is a small OEM CPU Cooler replacement, granted, but it's more. The heat pipe and heatsink design are very intricate, and it allows a lot of thermal performance for the size when at stock settings. The C7 is no overclocker, but it's not the target market.
