Introduction
You’ll know Noctua, they are a world-renowned cooling company. Everyone will know their normal range of cooling fans too, they have a unique colour scheme you can’t forget and cooling performance to match. A little less well-known are the Noctua industrialPPC Fan Series, a product range of fans aimed at the end-user that requires “enhanced cooling performance and advanced ingress protection” for “industrial heavy duty applications”.
To us, that just sounds like the average high end gaming system. There is another difference, though we wouldn’t claim to be so vain, they have a different colour scheme than the mainstream Noctua fans as you’ll see later.
Seriously though, there are a couple of other design features that may interest you, and you don’t get to really see or understand them until you get one of these fans into your hands. There’s a blade design called Heptaperf on the NF-F12 and a frame technology called Focused Flow too. On the NF-A14 these features are replaced with a blade geometry called “A-Series with Flow Acceleration Channels” and a frame technology called “AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation)”.
Interesting stuff, and when you see them in the flesh, they look like a completely thought out and well-designed fan, in a very subtle way. Today we have the NF-A14 industrialPPC-24V-3000 IP67 PWM and the NF-F12 industrialPPC-2000 IP67 PWM on review.

A couple of nice looking fans with the usual we would expect from Noctua, aerodynamic design, PWM and rubber isolation mount points, oh and a classy but reserved colour scheme.

The Noctua industrialPPC fans that we have tested in this review have impressed us. It's probably a little unfair to pitch them against the humble stock chassis fan, but most people will have them right now in their system and any upgrade is always a welcome one. The Noctua industrialPPC fans are not aimed at the average desktop end-user, but they can be applied with success.
