We set the motherboard fan profile to normal for all tests and we also tested the sound performance at idle and under load.
This is the stock test set up, the NF-F12 and NF-A14 fans will be replaced in the same position which is just in line with the CPU cooler fan. This is the default position for the Anidees AI7 chassis fan in the top left position, looking at it from the front. We have removed the front mesh dust filter as chassis can have different types of filter or no filter at all.
We reinstalled the front and side panels before testing, the chassis is in a standard configuration for usage, typical of the average end-user system on their desk.

The Noctua industrialPPC fans that we have tested in this review have impressed us. It's probably a little unfair to pitch them against the humble stock chassis fan, but most people will have them right now in their system and any upgrade is always a welcome one. The Noctua industrialPPC fans are not aimed at the average desktop end-user, but they can be applied with success.
