First up we have the PWM fan, with and without the NA-RC7 Noise Blocker. Also, unlike the other two fans on test here, the PWM has a 4 pin connector. There is a little jump above 80 Degrees °C without the NA-RC7, but other than that its a solid control of airflow.
PWM
Without Low Noise Adapter – 44.7db was achieved at 1200 RPM and with the Low Noise Adapter NA-RC7 43.0Db at 900 RPM. The GPU temperature inside the chassis peaks at 80 Degrees °C for both fans despite being nearly 2 Db quieter.
FLX
Without Low Noise Adapter 44.6 Db at 1200 RPM, with Low Noise Adapter (NA-RC12) 43.8Db at 900 RPM and with Low Noise Adapter (NA-RC10) 44 Db at 700RPM.

Using the three variants of the same fan it was clear that a system builder could manage airflow and noise with a high degree of accuracy. The level of design and thought in these fans is amazing, you will know it when you feel and open the box.
