Installation
We have mounted this on our 2011-v3 X99 test bed, the Asus Rampage V Extreme. This is an EATX motherboard and has DDR4 memory banks on both sides of the CPU. This will provide an understanding of the clearances on both sides, plus the graphics card as well.
The mounting brackets site on four screw bolts.
The first shots are without the graphics card and the cooler fan. The heatsink overhangs the memory closest to the back panel I/O but there is lots of space. You could mount the fan on the top surface if you needed all the room for memory clearances, but on the most part, this shouldnt be an issue.
You should remove the fan before mounting, there will be less chance of damage if you do. The heatpipes clear the memory well, though for really tall memory modules, there maybe some clearance issues. We have yet to see memory that would foul this side of the CPU cooler however.

The Noctua NH-C14S is another excellent cooler with a history. The improvements and up to date socket compatibility make it a class leading cooler in certain circumstances, mainly small chassis set ups or at least cooling areas with certain spacial dimensions with high performance.
