We always smile when unpacking Noctua products. It may be the humble CPU cooling fan but they do it really well.
The cooler is housed in the cardboard packaging above. It comes with the fan pre installed and ready to go.
With mounting and fittings for Intel and AMD, it is as expected these days, just presented well.
We also have a set of spare fan-clips for second NF-A9, Low-Noise Adaptor (L.N.A.), NT-H1 high-grade thermal compound, a Noctua Metal Case-Badge and a screwdriver.
There are three sets of instructions, AMD, LGA 115x and LGA 2011. They are nicely laid out with clear descriptions.

It is not supposed to be a competitor to the be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 but it does a fine job none the less. If you want big block CPU cooler performance in your small chassis, this maybe for you. From a consumer experience point of view, there isn't anything bad about this cooler, and there is a lot good about it.
