All round nice guy we think, this feels like a no fuss product, and looks it too. We took the fan off before fitting, though that’s not mandatory.
The shiny base-plate is very reflective. If you rub thermal paste into the base plate before mounting, this will fill a good number of scratches or imperfections that may cause performance issues.
