Next, Alien: Isolation UHD, and this shouldn’t pose too much of an issue for the GPU’s on test. It did measure up to all GPU’s on test showing superb FPS for a 1080p test earlier. We are using the same ultra settings for all games in the UHD tests as we did in the 1080p tests.
For this test at least, there’s no competition to the EVGA GTX 1080, it’s a generational jump ahead in FPS. You need to remember, this is UHD – 3840 x 2160 UHD resolutions. A couple of years ago this would have been a pipe dream.

Nvidia may have dropped the ball a little with the release drivers, and the subsequent drivers that game to fix the issues, but there's no doubt, the Nvidia GTX 1080 Founders Edition is a stellar performance, and the VGA GTX 1080 Founders Edition exercises the GPU core perfectly.
