Batman: Arkham Origins in UHD next, the game that looks like an AMD FPS fest’. If you want the best FPS money can buy, it looks like you need an AMD GPU to run Arkham Origins at UHD resolution without fear of low FPS.
The EVGA GTX 1080 Founders Edition gets put in its place in all but the minimum FPS results. The Fury X performance is superb, just goes to show it’s not all about the hype or GPU cores muscle. If the applications code can’t use the muscle, it’s pointless having it. AMD capability is utilised well here, and remember, this is UHD resolutions, it looks superb on the Fury X too.

Nvidia may have dropped the ball a little with the release drivers, and the subsequent drivers that game to fix the issues, but there's no doubt, the Nvidia GTX 1080 Founders Edition is a stellar performance, and the VGA GTX 1080 Founders Edition exercises the GPU core perfectly.
