For all gaming results we maxed the driver settings and the game settings. The two graphics cards differed when selecting due to features, but both cards had maxed out settings with DSR on the GTX970 set to 2.25, 3.0 and 4.0.
The proverbial chalk and cheese when it comes to performance, the GTX970 is a clear winner.
Again, enough of a performance increase generally to peak interest.
The PNY XLR8 GeForce GTX 770 restoring some honour, though the MSI GTX 970 GAMING Twin Frozr V is a solid and consistent performer.

The MSI GTX 970 GAMING Twin Frozr V is a very exciting product. It feels, performs and looks like a step change from the GTX770. Not to say the previous generation is obsolete, it is just the GTX 970 is a very mature and accomplished release. There hasn't been this sort of buzz around the GTX series in years, or at least one that was confirmed to be gratified.
