Finally Far Cry 3. The Sapphire is challenging the Fury X and the GTX 980 Ti, an excellent game play all round.
With the resolution at 1080p, the driver settings to default and the game at ultra, the game looked excellent while playing smoothly.
4K Results
Next some 4K results and as always, synthetic results are first. The Sapphire Fury showing some 4K muscle with a very close third place.
The Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury is taking its rightful third place a lot more convincingly, showing true 4K horsepower.
Next, Battlefield 4K. We are using 4096 x 2160, true DCI 4K and not the UHD or 3840×2160. There is about a 600,000 pixel difference and some screen real estate between UHD and DCI, most of which you would not notice, but your graphics card will need to power depending on the monitor you buy and the progression to future standards. The Sapphire Fury jumps all over the BF4K test, very playable results.
Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury Tri-X OC Graphics Card Review
Package and Bundle - 8.5
Performance - 9.5
Price - 9
Consumer Experience - 9.6
9.2
Finally, the Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury Tri-X OC is something the Fury X is not, and that's - available to buy right now. The GTX 980 does have the slight advantage in most results, but the Fury should be on everyone's shopping list based on the price to performance ratio.
