Alien: Isolation next and every card continues to “wow”. The Palit Super Jetstream GTX 980 Ti is still the clear winner, but every other card achieves stunning performances. We tested this game with all components we test, including any VR headsets that come our way and the results are always excellent. Pointing the finger at an excellent game code rather than just superb graphics grunt, though that helps as well.
The Zotac GTX 980 Ti AMP! Edition gets the job done with an overall second place. The GTX 980 Ti card lead the way here, though there are no losers with this game.

Our biggest issue with this card is that it's not special enough. Sure a core and memory frequency increase are good as standard and the GTX 980 Ti core is excellent, but we think the only advantage in owning this card over the reference design is cooling, and therefore overclocking. You may get a good overclocking baseline out of this card due to the good cooling solution, and it will help with sound performance, but the Palit Super Jetstream GTX 980 Ti outperforms it on most tests.
