Batman: Arkham Origins next, a slightly different type of game to our usual benchmarking preferences. This is a visually stunning game and many people, sites and communities have a Batman: Arkham Origins benchmark, thread or fan zone in there somewhere, we are no different. We had some sample availability issues which have been omitted.
The little AMD Nano clearly having a better day with this benchmark for whatever reason on the day and driving the message home, this is an AMD game. The Zotac AMP! Edition having issues with this along side it’s GTX980 Ti stable mate, the Palit Super Jetstream GTX 980 Ti. The MSI GTX970 makes for a good showing here though and in the minimum FPS bracket the Nvidia cards show some real muscle.

Our biggest issue with this card is that it's not special enough. Sure a core and memory frequency increase are good as standard and the GTX 980 Ti core is excellent, but we think the only advantage in owning this card over the reference design is cooling, and therefore overclocking. You may get a good overclocking baseline out of this card due to the good cooling solution, and it will help with sound performance, but the Palit Super Jetstream GTX 980 Ti outperforms it on most tests.
