AIDA64 Engineer FLOPS results next and the AMD victories keep on coming. The Zotac AMP! Edition returns an average performance here only managing to outperform the reference Zotac offering by small margins.
A little better offering from the AMP! Edition over the reference Zotac GTX980 Ti but in reality this is in third place. All the AMD cores perform well here with the GTX970 bringing up the rear in both results. The Zotac AMP! Edition is a decent performer but it doesn’t distinguish itself from the rest of the field.

Our biggest issue with this card is that it's not special enough. Sure a core and memory frequency increase are good as standard and the GTX 980 Ti core is excellent, but we think the only advantage in owning this card over the reference design is cooling, and therefore overclocking. You may get a good overclocking baseline out of this card due to the good cooling solution, and it will help with sound performance, but the Palit Super Jetstream GTX 980 Ti outperforms it on most tests.
