Gaming next, and Battlefield 4 up first. Battlefield 4 has a matured graphics engine and it is not really phased by any drivers or graphics cards, it should maximize your hardware and set up for lots of online killing!
Battlefield 4 is also our “go to” game for 4K UHD pleasure, and it’s stood out in the past few years as an excellent gaming engine with a capability to maintain performance through the resolution ranks.
The Zotac AMP! Edition is an excellent performer here, as with the other GTX980 Ti cards, they all hit the BF4 frame limit. In fact, all GPU cores are excellent here with an honourable mention for the R9 390X DD from XFX. It’s got a habit of popping up in benchmark results with some strong performances. Call it a coincidence, but the GTX980 Ti GPU cards are remarkably aligned in their FPS performance, especially in their maximum FPS.

Our biggest issue with this card is that it's not special enough. Sure a core and memory frequency increase are good as standard and the GTX 980 Ti core is excellent, but we think the only advantage in owning this card over the reference design is cooling, and therefore overclocking. You may get a good overclocking baseline out of this card due to the good cooling solution, and it will help with sound performance, but the Palit Super Jetstream GTX 980 Ti outperforms it on most tests.
