Last of the synthetic tests and 3DMark shows some performance gains. To cap all this off, we use an mITX set up and an Intel i5 CPU with DDR3, this should demonstrate GPU performance though at a cost of some CPU limited applications.
Also, GPUs can be CPU hungry, they may desire a strong CPU to power them along, either way, you are seeing the Zotac perform at its most fundamental, without high end chipset support.
Gaming results next and Battlefield 4 up first. All gaming results we maxxed the driver settings and the game settings.
Battlefield 4 shows astonishing performance, though it is getting on a bit. Still, with all settings maxxed and 2048×1152 resolution, it looked awesome and played without fault.
Crysis 3 doesn’t have the same performance gains seen with Battlefield 4 over the XFX Radeon R9 390X, though still playable, just.
Remember this is not a fair comparison but the Zotac should be further ahead than this. You may notice however, Crysis 3 is an AMD optimised game….
