Ballistix Elite 3466 MHz DDR4 32Gb Memory Kit Review

Packaging & Contents

The packaging and memory is identical to the Ballistix Elite 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz Memory Kit we reviewed previously. We have four 8Gb modules which arrived one per package. The packaging is typical Ballistix, simple and functional. The product code is BLE8G4D34AEEAK if you want to pick up an identical kit.

We love the styling on the modules, it is made of metal and looks and feels very solid. Four in a row look give a very solid appearance when installed.

The memory is not RGB, it’s about the only thing we would mark it down for in appearance or features, but then again, not everyone wants RGB in their systems. You can get some Ballistix RGB memory now though, with the announcement of the Ballistix Tactical Tracer DDR4 RGB Gaming Memory Modules.

When we added up our scores, the Ballistix Elite 3466 MHz DDR4 Memory Kit managed to get into the “Recommended” category, and we are super impressed by this kit. We would recommend you think hard about a kit like this if you own an early X99 chipset motherboard, but anything else, and this is an excellent upgrade, though you will notice this less if you have 3200Mhz memory already.
