The Crucial Ballistix Tactical 32GB Kit is in the typical Crucial packaging, not too fancy and you can see the memory clearly. The Ballistix Tactical modules are in the typical Crucial style too, not over the top and with a clean minimalist look. They are very “techy” looking and will slot nicely into most systems without looking out of place.

The black PCB and the gunmetal heat spreaders work well and sometimes they looked a little deliberately weathered in certain lights. A steampunk custom look could be achieved without too much effort with these modules.

The modules are a little taller than low profile memory modules due to the heat spreaders, so they have a minimal height profile that may hit some CPU coolers. We test a lot with Crucial memory and generally do not have an issue, though this maybe an issue in some mATX builds, ATX and especially mITX systems should have no issues.

Crucial Ballistix Tactical 32GB DDR4 3000Mhz Memory is a decent 32Gb kit. With the 3000Mhz speeds and the relatively tight timings compared to the others in the test, it offers good speed, capacity and response times for your system. Paired with a balanced system, this will only serve you well, however if you want to upgrade your system, the Crucial Ballistix Tactical 32GB 3000Mhz Kit is enough of a performance jump over a 2400Mhz kit to not notice the difference.
