ATTO Disk Benchmark next and this popular storage drive benchmarking tool backs up IOMeter performance. This time, we went from 4Kb to 64Mb file transfer size and the Asustor AS3102T maintains its performance throughout.
Again, the Asustor AS3102T was mapped as a network drive, so IOMeter directly accessed the folder structure and ATTO Disk Benchmark was run via the test system noted on the test setup page.
Another good indicator of an average network performance, and well below the RAID 0 setup performance of the drives internally, just as with IOMeter. This should provide ample speed for most types of streaming, though some large file transfers may be best managed locally, via USB or as we will show you on the next page, without going through a standard home router. To back this up again, this is what we get out of our Home Server when transferring across this network setup.
