The Sound BlasterX H6 has a gamer theme to the packaging, the target market. In the box, you will find the Sound BlasterX H6 headset, a 2M USB Cable and a 1.5M 3.5mm Audio Cable, the usual Quick Start and Warranty Leaflets. There’s also a detachable microphone which is very positional and easy to fix in place.
Features include a breathable & replaceable high-density memory foam fabric mesh earpads, customizable Aurora RGB lighting and ambient monitoring, which lets you hear the outside world when activated.
You can use the Sound BlasterX H6 without any software, even over USB, but RGB configurations and other related options are only supported by the Sound Blaster Connect application. You can also turn off the RGB if you want, but despite our lack of interest in RGB, the H6 implementation is not intrusive.
