Up close, the Sound BlasterX H6 is solid and heavier than expected. The foam is soft and very comfortable, and the metal headband feels unbreakable for general use. There are buttons, ports and a volume rotary on the headset, to monitor, mute and EQ the headset.
The earpieces are not fixed in position, so they will adapt to the shape of your head, making them more comfortable for long gaming sessions.
Until you plug them into USB, the styling and theme are very subtle, black on grey and nothing garish about them. We prefer this type of styling, and with the detachable microphone, you should also use these as music/audio headphones using the included 3.5mm cable without looking like you are using a gaming headset.
