Boogie Bug Aim B.PAD XL Mouse Mat Review

So disregarding the overall size, a good surface, slightly thinner but with good grip and surface feedback. However we think the main benefit of the surface is its sheer size. This isn’t a mouse mat or gaming surface on its own, it’s a surface for your keyboard and mouse.

Now you may say why, but it occurred to us shortly after setting it up that with both keyboard and mouse on this surface, there is no edge to for your mouse to fall off. Due to the non symmetrical shape we had this surface upside down and the right way up, but there is so much room, you will never run off the rounded edge. We think this is a true and unexpected bonus, something that true gamers will appreciate one set up.

This is one of our offices with the Boogie Bug Aim B.PAD XL Mouse Mat set up. The keyboard and mouse sit side by side without a lip or division between the mouse and keyboard to interrupt gaming, graphic design or any other mouse intensive movements.

For us, this is very important and has cured an issue we have all had for a good few years now; how to position a mouse and keyboard without a clash.

 Conclusion

From a technology point of view, this is a nice and well thought out and made surface, but that’s not its main selling point. The surface cures issues with a surface being too small or too large by just simply being oversized.

This means you can put you mouse, keyboard, mobile phone and other items on the same surface without them getting in the way or the mouse and keyboard interfering with each other. It probably seems like a small point, but try it, we are not sure there is another way to do it. This may be the way forward for all surfaces that want to make the ultimate desktop mouse position possible.
