The PCB is only half-length, supporting the idea that a 1Tb model is on the way, or is at least possible. Four 64GB Micron 256 bit 3D MLC NAND packages with an NW818 code are presented on the topside.
On the other side of the board are a further four more NAND packages, a DDR3 cache chip and the Silicon Motion SN2258XT controller.
With the thermal pad removed, the SN2258XT is exposed. This is a 4-channel controller using a 32-bit RISC CPU supporting 3D MLC & TLC NAND. It uses Silicon Motion’s NANDXtend technology to aid in error correcting and data protection, all while extending the SSD lifespan.
The chip has very faint markings as the thermal pad is slightly soft and seemed to fade the print.
Crucial BX300 480Gb SSD Storage Review

It's safe to say the Crucial BX300 is another solid investment from Crucial. SSD's have really come of age, and the third generation of the BX range is more evolution than revolution. There's nothing bad with that at this time, we're only really looking for speed and size, with the former throttled by the SATA bandwidth and the latter on its way slowly, the 480Gb BX300 is as good as you can get just now.
