Moving on to the 5Gb tests and we start with the installed Apple (Samsung) MZ-JPU512T/0A6 AHCI 512Gb M.2 SSD to give its full name. The Read/Write results are very similar to the 1Gb tests with the same “Will It Work” results as well.
The JetDrive 850 960GB NVMe SSD results next, and we have included the best results for a three run batch of benchmarks and a sustained 30-minute run, this time with s 5Gb file size and again the difference is stunning. Write speeds jump to around 1125MB/s, about a 20% increase in speed, enough to be tangible for some power users. Read speeds have again doubled, also providing another power user benefit.
10 Bit YUK 4:2:2 2016p30/50 & 60 is now supported from a speed point of view for all but 10 Bit YUK 4:2:2 2016p60 Write capability, and all still supported n the sustained 30-minute runs.
