Test Set Up
We used a mixture of Apple Lossless and regular MP3’s on two devices, a smart phone and a tablet/laptop. We trialled it against the stylish Jambox by Jawbone, something we have used for a while.
- Microsoft Surface Pro 3
- LG G3 Lollipop build
- Jambox by Jawbone
- Various MP3’s at 256kbit/s
- Various M4A’s at lossless compression
- Ears!
We varied our listening from Rage Against The Machine, to The Beatles. This way we ensured a mix of styles and recording technologies, so we didn’t muddy the waters and let the phonic standards confuse matters.
The Jambox and the BT-10 have very different sound qualities, but we do have a clear winner. Despite being twice the UK price, the Jambox is outclassed in every sound quality way with the exception of bass. We used the LG G3 to test MP3’s and they sounded excellent. The BT-10 does need a little push when it comes to bass, but mid and high end frequencies are really good.

These products are not complicated, and they will be limited when designed due to compatibility, cost etc. The LuguLake Speaker Stand BT-10 doesn't pretend to be anything more than a Wireless Speaker Stand and it does that really well.
