Samsung Galaxy S5 announced, headed to 150 countries
The Galaxy S5 features a 5.1″ Super AMOLED screen of 1920×1080 resolution, Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM, 150Mbps LTE and a 16MP camera which Samsung claims has the fastest auto-focus among smartphones.
On the software side, the smartphone runs Android 4.4.2 with Samsung’s custom TouchWiz UI and improved version of Samsung’s own KNOX security system. Samsung has also introduced an Ultra Power Saving Mode which turns the display to black and white, and shuts down all unnecessary features giving 24 hours of standby on low battery.
