From the underside of the Inkubus 300µ the dominant feature is the fan mounting, supporting 120mm or 140mm fans. There is no dust filter, which maybe an issue for some, but generally the HTPC set up won’t be moving a lot of air, there’s not high graphics to cool or multiple chassis fans. Something to think about for the future though.
With the fan installed it certainly looks like a wind tunnel in there! We mounted the fan using rubber grommets.
The finished chassis; When assembled, it looks good, isn’t too heavy and is a self contained media system ready to go. We love the way it looks with the minimalist design drawing your eye to every feature and detail.

The Inkubus 300µ is a range of handmade systems at the high end of the market, why would we review the chassis? Well, Inkubus have stated there will be an opportunity for international customers to purchase the chassis alone on a special occasion, probably in early 2017. You may be able to get your hands on one, but you need to keep track of it and due to their handmade nature, we cannot imagine they will be mass produced, so it's going to be rare and sought after.
