MicroCool Banchetto 101 Chassis Review

Admin Chassis 1547

The main body arrives flat packed with some nice absorbent polystyrene, the good stuff, and shrink wrapped in plastic. We think the materials feel good and are well thought out, with a very nice logo on the top panel.

Close up of some of the threaded inserts, and some dust. The finish is almost piano shiny, and very attractive to dust.

A touch of class from MicroCool.

Test Build

We choose components based on size to utilize the layout of the chassis. We didn’t include an optical drive as we don’t really use them anymore, so we used a 2.5 inch to 5.25 inch converter for the SSD. As you can imagine, we had no fit issues at all, however, we had a few cable length issues with the PSU. Careful routing has to be considered.

We have to say, with little effort it makes a stunning build, if you like to see the components at work.

Did we like it? Yes, despite its minor issues the chassis is a real showcase in anyone’s den, games room or even office. We are using it as a test rig and for now, nothing can beat it. The ease of access is amazing, allowing for reconfiguration and swapping out parts quickly. You can use this as a chassis for any type of build you want and you will see some of these in modding builds such as desk mods.
