Nanoxia CoolForce 2 Chassis Review

Test Build

We didn’t include an optical drive as we don’t really use them any more. We used some of our current test components, including a Zotac Amp GTX980 Ti and the Gigabyte Z170 G1 Sniper. We deliberately do not spend too much time cabling, we try and demonstrate a basic and quick build.

We will generally cable it so we can get the chassis doors on. On with the test build shots;

The Zotac GTX 980 Ti AMP! Edition we used in the test build is the perfect size of card for this chassis. We could stuff some cables at the end of it and it didn’t seem to have an issue with it.

We installed two Crucial MX200 500Gb SSD in the front area to show where these can be positioned, but we made no attempt to cable them up, so there isn’t a hidden cable or section cleaning up that area.

With a small amount of cable management and drive positioning we managed a clean build. The included Velcro cable management is welcome and is really well positioned to pick up the cabling from the front panel to the motherboard.

This is another Nanoxia chassis we really like. It is not a Deep Silence 1 Rev.B but it doesn't need to be, it is a chassis with design touches and features all of its own. We liked the provided cable management, lighting and the amount of airflow this chassis could achieve. We also liked the green fans, though, not to everyone's taste, and may put off some AMD fans!
