Corsair H110i GT AIO CPU Cooler Review

Admin AIO Coolers 2073

We are relatively new to All In One Coolers, and being an advocate of water cooling and custom loops, we firmly believe there is no greater challenge than your own custom water cooling loop.

That said, we did enjoy the NZXT Kraken X61 AIO CPU Cooler, and so we are going to look at more of these. With EK entering the market, and no doubt a few other big cooling names soon, it’s going to get tough for the mainstream AIO manufacturers to keep up, in the meantime we are going to look at another AIO sample, this time from an even bigger household name, Corsair.

The Corsair H110i GT AIO CPU Cooler is part of the Hydro Series and consists of a 280mm radiator and dual SP140L PWM fans doing most of the work. The Hydro Series has a large number of AIO coolers so you will probably find something that you would like or need.

The Corsair H110i GT is pretty much a top of the range cooler, with the GTX above it, there isn’t much of a difference if any, other than the manufacturer CoolIT. There have been some minor ripples of surprise across forums about re brands and different manufactures in one range.

The H110i GT is heavy but comes thoughtfully packaged, these AIO coolers are a bit ungainly when unpacked but everything is packed tightly so not to move a round in transit.

Here’s what you get, everything to get you going, including some thermal paste. This feels like a quality product at this point and seemingly good for the money.

The fans do not come pre-installed, but it does give you the chance to have a look at the superb radiator. This does feel high quality, and subtle in its colours too.

The biggest problem for the Corsair H110i GT is the NZXT Kraken X61. Maybe if we had of tested the Corsair first, we would have been impressed, albeit needing some earplugs, but the Kraken X61 was in our lab first, and set the bar for our AIO cooler expectation.
