The card looks excellent when installed, with an understated design that doesn’t over-complicate the overall design of your rig.
Test Set Up
We recently changed our testing set up to an X99 Chipset supporting DDR4, 2011-3 Socket CPU and some serious power and bandwidth for the GPU to play with. All updates to the Operating System, games and Synthetic benchmarks are assumed, and a full de-fragmentation on the SSD after a fresh install before any benches are carried out.
We will be testing in 1080p and UHD using the ViewSonic VP2780-4K 27-Inch UltraHD IPS Monitor.

Default driver settings were used for synthetic and gaming tests, we only changed the game settings to push the resolutions and set to Ultra quality for example. All game tests have the game settings screenshot included.
Sound Performance
We tested the sound performance at idle and during heavy load. We used a certified Db meter at 15 inches range.
As you can see, second place due to the excellent under load performance. It’s beaten by the superb Sapphire Fury Tri-X which has three fans. At idle, or when not in 3D Mode, the fans do not spin up, so there was no reading to report.
It is important to note we used the MicroCool Banchetto 101 Chassis for testing which is an open chassis. This means you are hearing the GPU cooler fan unobstructed.

If you don't get a couple of AMD HBM graphics cards for your rig, and would prefer a single card set up, this is the card for you. The cooling package and the GPU core speed increase impacts in a really balanced way, but always for the better. It's good-looking too, and the sound performance is as good as a GTX 970, it's only the price you need a strong stomach for. This product is recommended, however it received a lower score than usual due to the packaging issues we have seen. Get a good one and you'll love it!
